Big win

I am exceedingly proud of Kate Prater from our team.

She just saved one of our self-funded clients $115k by going above and beyond the normal duties of her position.

In short: She had been tracking a pended claim for a self-funded client that ended up settling outside the run-out period of their spec reinsurance contract. But she had already confirmed, in writing, if this unique situation occurred-- that the client would not be held liable.

Put another way, this $115k claim was going to be entirely on the client due to slow internal insurance processes but Kate foresaw it as a possibility and eliminated the risk if it were to happen (which it did).

I am not sure where else you can find this level of "give a damn" in the industry but I sure am happy to be part of it.
